Project Sheet

Part of the £30 million Lincoln Transport Hub for City of Lincoln Council; a significant regeneration project transforming the city centre and providing a state-of-the-art bus station, 1,000 space multi-storey car park with fast charge electric vehicle charging, café and new public realm.

AWARDED: Best New Car Park - British Parking Awards 2019; Development Project of the Year (over £5m) - Lincolnshire Construction and Property Awards 2019; East Midlands Civil Engineering.

Project of the Year - Celebrating Construction Awards 2018
The careful design of the Multi-storey Car Park (MSCP) and choice of materials ensured the impact of the building on protected views of the Cathedral were minimised. The interior is very open with few columns, creating a pleasant experience and a safer car park.

“I am biased but it really doesn’t look like a car park. The design fits in with the landscape. It’s very subtle. It’s something to be proud of for years to come in Lincoln.”
- Angela Andrews, Chief Executive - City of Lincoln Council.

INVOLVEMENT: Paul Ponwaye and Fay Benson
