Lincoln UTC Greestone Centre
Involved from the earliest feasibility study for the local college and appointed by the contractor for the design of the new university technical college facility at the Greestone site.
The project involved the design of a contemporary teaching block within the Cathedral Close, the refurbishment of the listed Greestone building and the repair of the sections of the Close wall which run through the site.
Conservation management statements were produced for the Victorian Grade II listed school building designed by William Watkins, together with the Close wall, to enable the impact of the design proposals to be assessed. Works were complete for the start of the 2015 academic year.
The project created 6,000 sq m of teaching accommodation.
