North Lindsey College, Scunthorpe

The new 600 sq m painting and decorating training centre was constructed to allow the existing painting and decorating training workshops to be relocated from within a building which had come to the end of its serviceable life.

26 individual training bays were created over two floors together with mock staircases, living room and kitchens to enable students to practice in pseudo-real environments.

Full back of house facilities are provided in terms of preparation spaces, materials and tool stores, lecture rooms and student welfare facilities.
