Lincoln UTC Greestone Centre

Design and Build Contract involving the creation of 6,000 sq m of teaching accommodation for a University Technical College and the refurbishment of a Victorian Grade II listed school building, designed by William Watkins.

The project involved the design of a contemporary teaching block within the Cathedral Close and the refurbishment of the listed Greestone building. Specialist teaching labs for Science, Technology and Engineering were provided with the latest equipment available with support from industry sponsors Siemens and academic sponsors The University of Lincoln.

AWARDS: Winner: Project of the Year - East Midlands Construction Awards 2016; Regional Finalist: LABC Building Excellence Awards 2016; SHORTLISTED: Offsite - Best Use of Steel Award 2016; RICS Awards 2016 - Design and Innovation and Building Conservation.
