Events Building, North Lindsey College, Scunthorpe

The Butler Building at North Lindsey College had remained “mothballed” for several years prior to this substantial make-over. Previously the portal framed building had been in use as the Brickwork Training Centre and was in very poor condition.

The project saw the complete strip-out of the interior, construction of a new toilet block internally and conversion of the main space to a 420 seat capacity 400 sq m multi flexible performance/conference space. The external envelope was re-clad and a new entrance/reception pod added,
clad in western red cedar.
