About the Role
What We Are Looking For
For Assistants: RIBA Part 2 qualification with strong technical competency and a desire to progress toward chartership. Industry experience required.
For Technicians: A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a UK architectural practice.
Software Skills: Solid proficiency in AutoCAD and/or relevant BIM/3D modeling software.
Knowledge base: An exceptional understanding of UK Building Regulations, The Building Safety Act, town planning procedures, and construction detailing.
Attributes: A proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative, close-knit environment.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design & Delivery: Prepare and develop high-quality planning applications, comprehensive building regulations submissions, and detailed construction packages.
Project Management: Work collaboratively across all RIBA project stages, taking ownership of technical packages for high-end residential, heritage, and commercial schemes.
Drafting & Coordination: Produce highly accurate 2D/3D technical drawings and coordinate closely with clients, local planning authorities, structural engineers, and contractors.
Site Support: Conduct site surveys and attend progress meetings, ensuring design compliance and intent are maintained on-site.
